About the role

GTT Healthcare Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 12-week assignment starting on July 13, 2026, in Hobbs, New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
• Assist with preoperative and postoperative care
• Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of equipment
• Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare team members
• Adhere to infection control protocols

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing
• At least 2 years of operating room nursing experience
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of surgical procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
