Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,685 per week

About the role

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Operating Room position in Wenatchee, Washington. Start date: October 19, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Schedule: 40 hours per week, day shifts of 10 hours (06:30 AM–05:00 PM). The role involves providing high-quality patient care in the surgical setting, focusing on craniotomy and retina procedures, ensuring safety, compliance, and effective communication with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and provides high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process and unit standards
• Develops, implements, and reassesses individualized care plans
• Administers medications, performs nursing procedures, and treatments
• Evaluates discharge plans and educational needs
• Documents assessments, interventions, and responses accurately
• Collects patient information to ensure safe, high-quality care
• Performs holistic assessments and responds appropriately
• Determines and executes nursing actions to meet care goals, addressing physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs
• Teaches patient and family health information promptly and clearly
• Maintains current knowledge of workflows, evidence-based procedures, and organizational standards
• Delegates effectively and oversees care provided by assistive personnel
• Participates in performance and quality improvement processes
• Collaborates with the healthcare team and maintains a safe environment

Qualifications

• WA State or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Knowledge of craniotomy and retina procedures
• Ability to take call
• Required to float as a sitter and in rotation
