About the role
Operating Room Registered Nurse position on a 13-week travel contract. Schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts (06:30–17:00) Monday through Friday, plus 1–2 on-call shifts per week (17:00–23:00). Guaranteed hours: 72 bi-weekly (96 not available).
Responsibilities
- Circulate surgical cases
- Manage all nursing care within the operating room
- Observe the surgical team from a broad perspective
- Assist the team in creating and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for the patient’s surgery
Requirements
- Active RN license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience
- Experience in a Level 1 or 2 trauma center
- daVinci Robot experience
- Neuro-spine and cranial experience
- Pediatric OR experience
- Orthopedic trauma experience
- Cerner EMR experience
Schedule
- Four 10-hour shifts per week: Monday–Friday, 06:30–17:00
- On-call: 1–2 shifts per week, 17:00–23:00
- Assignment duration: 13 weeks
Pay
Guaranteed hours pay: 72 hours bi-weekly (96 hours not available).
