Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,560 per week
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Kingston, New York. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care in a busy healthcare environment. The position includes scheduled day shifts with a call rotation, supporting the organization's surgical services.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in the OR setting
- Support patient safety protocols and demonstrate clinical proficiency
- Adhere to hospital policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Communicate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Support surgical teams with operational flexibility
- Participate in scheduled day shifts and call rotations
- Float rotation may be required
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or similar healthcare degree
- New York state licensure or eligibility
- At least 1 year of relevant operating room experience
- Ability to work scheduled days and call shifts, including one 24-hour call shift every third weekend
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous operating room (OR) and surgical experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Schedule
- 8-hour day shifts, 37 hours per week
- Primary shift: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, four days a week
- Scheduled call rotation: 8:00 pm to 7:00 am
- One 24-hour call shift every third weekend
Pay
Competitive salary with tax-free stipend amount to be determined (based on 8-hour shifts and 37 hours per week).
