Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,485 per week
Job Summary
Operating Room Nurse in Casper, Wyoming. This position involves assessing, planning, and delivering patient care in the surgical setting, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and professional standards. The role requires collaboration with the surgical team to provide safe and effective perioperative care, utilizing specialized nursing knowledge and skills appropriate for the physical and developmental needs of patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wyoming;
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification;
- at least 1 year of clinical experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months;
- experience in operating room nursing preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN);
- professional certification related to perioperative nursing;
- additional education or experience in surgical nursing.
Additional Information
Responsible for preoperative assessments, intraoperative patient care, and postoperative evaluations. Implements care plans based on physician orders and organizational policies, documenting all interventions and patient responses accurately. Participates in team-based surgical procedures, maintains sterile techniques, and ensures patient safety throughout the surgical continuum.

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
