Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,489 per week

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Operating Room assignment in Davenport, Iowa.

About the role

This travel nursing position is at a hospital with advanced surgical suites and a collaborative, patient-focused culture. You will provide perioperative care before, during, and after surgery, assist with surgical instruments, maintain sterile technique, and document in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative care to patients before, during, and after surgery
• Assist with surgical instruments and equipment
• Maintain sterile technique in the operating room
• Document patient care in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Active Iowa RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Recent operating room nursing experience
• One reference from entire work history
• Permanent address must be over 90 miles from the facility (locals may not apply)

Qualifications

• CNOR certification (recommended)
• Strong technical proficiency with surgical equipment
• Excellent communication skills

Pay

Pay rate: $2,414.00 - $2,564.00 per week.

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hours, days
