Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,485 per week

About the role

Operating Room (OR) Nurse position providing perioperative nursing care in a high-volume surgical setting. The role involves collaboration with surgical teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes during day and evening shifts, including on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms
• Assist during surgical procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety standards
• On-call rotation: available once a week and every fifth weekend, including one weeknight call per week
• Option to work 4 ten‑hour shifts or 5 eight‑hour shifts depending on scheduling needs

Requirements

• Valid licensure as a registered nurse
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Active state nursing license
• Nursing degree from an accredited institution
• Within commuting distance of the facility
• Minimum of 1 year of experience generally expected (no formal minimum specified)

• Experience in perioperative care or operating room settings (preferred)

Pay

Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• Shift: 12‑hour days
• Minimum hours per week: 36 hours
• Start date: 11/02/2026
• End date: 02/01/2027 (13‑week assignment)
• On‑call rotation: once a week and every fifth weekend, plus one weeknight call per week
• Alternative scheduling options: 4 ten‑hour shifts or 5 eight‑hour shifts as needed
