About the role
Travel nurse RN – Operating Room assignment at HCA Florida Kendall in Miami, Florida. 13‑week contract, 40 hours/week, day shift (7:00 AM‑7:30 PM).
Responsibilities
- Provide observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation of care for all patients.
- Function as scrub nurse and circulator for all service lines.
- Perform typical procedures including joint replacement, ENT, ortho, spine, vascular, urology, podiatry, thoracic surgery and plastic surgery.
- Adhere to unit guidelines and policies; rotate weekends as required.
- Meet on‑call obligations: 2 weeknight calls (7 PM‑7 AM), 2 weekend 24‑hour calls, and 1 holiday 24‑hour call within each 4‑week period.
Requirements
- ACLS and BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years current experience in an acute OR setting.
- Experience with orthopedic, spine, and joint replacement cases (knee and hip).
Preferred qualifications
- PALS certification.
- CNOR certification.
- Charge nurse experience.

Schedule
- 13‑week travel assignment.
