Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,460 per week
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This role involves providing comprehensive perioperative nursing care within a busy surgical environment. The position requires an adaptable and proficient RN capable of managing various cases independently, including robotics, orthopedic, spine, and general surgery procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in a surgical environment
- Manage cases independently, including robotics, orthopedic, spine, and general surgery procedures
- Demonstrate well-rounded circulating skills for various case types
- Work evenings shifts, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Be available to work 1-2 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed
Requirements
- Active Iowa (IA) license or multi-state compact license
- Current ACLS (American Heart Association) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
- Minimum of 24 months of current OR experience
- Proficiency in EPIC (electronic medical record system)
- Proficiency in DaVinci Xi, Mako, and Rosa robotics equipment
- Experience in orthopedic surgeries, including total joints and spine
- Experience in general surgery
- Travel experience within the previous 15 months
- Scrub experience preferred
- Good employment history with specific discipline skills
- Must include references within the past 24 months

Pay
Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
