Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,325 per week

Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in York, Pennsylvania. This role involves independently managing neurosurgical procedures within a specialized neurosurgery unit, focusing on neuro, trauma, orthopedic, and robotic surgery in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support complex surgical cases, including neurosurgical procedures such as craniotomy, ventriculoperitoneal (VP) shunt management, and minimally invasive surgery.
• Manage patient positioning (lateral, supine, prone) during procedures.
• Provide care for COVID-19 patients as needed.
• Participate in call and weekend shifts as specified (call shifts start after the end of the scheduled shift at 0700).

Requirements

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, including neuro, trauma, orthopedic, and robotic surgery.
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Emergency Improvement Certificate (EIC).
• Ability to work in a tobacco and fragrance-free facility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a Level I or Level II trauma setting.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system.

Schedule

• 40 hours per week.
• Option of 4, 10-hour shifts (0700-1730) or 3, 12-hour shifts (0700-1930).
• No guaranteed block scheduling.
