About the role
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a healthcare facility, providing specialized surgical nursing care within a short-term acute care setting. This role involves assisting in surgical procedures, maintaining sterile environments, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout operative processes.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with surgical procedures
- Maintaining sterile fields
- Patient monitoring during operations
- Supporting surgical team members
Requirements
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- At least 1 year of OR nursing experience
- Valid license in the applicable state or a valid compact license in hand at submission
- Experience with charting in Epic system preferred
- Experience with cardiovascular patient care preferred
- Responses to whether the candidate has prior experience at a Providence facility
- Two references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
Schedule
- Days shift, 10 hours per shift
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
