The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for an outpatient radiation oncology unit in Edmonds, Washington. The role involves providing specialized nursing care to adult and geriatric oncology patients, with a focus on outpatient treatments and radiation therapy. Job Details
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with shifts starting at either 0700-1500 or 1400-2200, totaling a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid BLS certification
- 3+ years of oncology experience
- Experience with Epic electronic charting system
- A minimum of 0 years of experience
- Certification in Radiation Oncology
Additional Skills
- Familiarity with external beam radiation therapy (Teletherapy)
- Intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT)
- Image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT)
- Managing outpatient oncology patients
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior charge nurse experience
- Extensive knowledge of oncology-specific procedures
Additional Information
The RN will be responsible for managing outpatient oncology treatments, monitoring patient responses, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The position is primarily 8-hour morning and afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday, with no weekend or call requirements.

Pay and Schedule
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
