Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $2,040 per week

Job Summary

The Medical Surgical Oncology Floor nursing position is located in Issaquah, Washington. This outpatient oncology role involves supporting infusion clinics with chemotherapy administration and managing adult patient care. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional capable of providing high-quality care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Job Details

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid clinical license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ONS (Ovarian, Nursing, and Oncology Society) fundamentals of chemotherapy certification, and acute care medical-surgical oncology experience
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 30 patient visits per day in a facility with 12 rooms and beds, supporting outpatient oncology with chemotherapy infusion
• Additional Information: Outpatient MDs in clinic to support infusion needs, with rare float requirements if census is low. Must have experience with accessing/managing ports, administering chemotherapy, managing infusion pumps, and handling cytotoxic spills.

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications: Valid clinical license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ONS (Ovarian, Nursing, and Oncology Society) fundamentals of chemotherapy certification, and acute care medical-surgical oncology experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Outpatient oncology experience and significant chemotherapy expertise.

Pay & Schedule

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
