Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse - Night Shift - Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing specialized nursing care for oncology and post-operative patients in an acute care setting. Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• RN license
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the past 6 months
• Experience on medical-surgical and oncology units

Preferred Qualifications

• ONS Chemo Provider Card

Responsibilities

• Performing post-op assessments
• Managing oncology treatments
• Administering chemo when required
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Additional Information

• Candidates must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start
• The unit is equipped with Cpap and high-flow respiratory equipment for palliative care patients
• Floating to other med/surg/tele units may be required
• Self-scheduling is available, with four weekend shifts per four-week schedule, plus a holiday rotation
• Charting System: Cerner

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
