Responsibilities

• Float to all inpatient units as needed, including IMC and CTU units.
• Care for patients with conditions such as anemia, cellulitis, COPD, dehydration, pre‑ and post‑op urology and GI cases, and patients on drips (Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin).
• Read and interpret cardiac strips; EKG exam required during compliance.
• Manage an 8‑bed observation unit with a patient ratio of 1:4; average patient stay up to 48 hours with high admissions/discharges.
• Adapt to unit census reductions in 4‑hour increments, potentially working only 4 or 8 hours of a shift.
• Eligible for up to 36 hours of low‑census unbillable hours, usable in hour increments as needed.
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday rotation.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of RN experience.
• At least one prior travel assignment.
• EPIC charting experience.
• WI RN License, BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC); NIHSS highly preferred.
• Associate Degree or Certificate required.
• Any color scrubs permitted.

Pay

Estimated gross weekly pay: $3,360 (based on 12‑hour shifts and 48 hours per week; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined).

Schedule

12‑hour shifts, day or night, variable (7:00 AM‑7:30 PM or 7:00 PM‑7:30 AM); guaranteed 48 hours per week; every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required.
