About the role

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in the Atlanta area. This position involves working a weekend block schedule of nights, specifically Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The role requires delivering specialized care to neonates with complex diagnoses, with the opportunity to float to other units as needed.

Schedule

Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
Minimum of 36 hours per week
Weekend block: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Responsibilities

Deliver specialized care to neonates with complex diagnoses, including congenital diaphragmatic hernia, meconium aspiration syndrome, necrotizing enterocolitis, tracheoesophageal fistula esophageal atresia, abdominal wall defects, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, pulmonary hypertension, and pre/peri/post-operative neonatal care
Float to other units as needed
Work at least one holiday if it falls during the contract period

Requirements

Valid RN license
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse
Experience with level IV/surgical NICU
Current certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Current flu vaccination (religious and/or medical exemptions are not accepted)
Drug screen and testing required
