Travel Nurse RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - $2,196 per week

Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN for a NICU – Neonatal Intensive Care position in Park Ridge, Illinois. The assignment is at a Magnet‑designated, Level 1 Trauma and Teaching Hospital with a Level III NICU (54 beds) that provides advanced care for premature infants, unstable newborns requiring medical care, and surgical patients. The role involves 12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, for a 12‑week period beginning 10/19/2026. Scrubs are provided on the unit and free parking is available.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to premature infants, unstable newborns requiring medical care, and surgical patients.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2 without CNA support.
• Perform bedside monitoring; no tele‑tech involvement.
• Chart patient data using EPIC, Pyxis, Alaris, and Phillips monitor systems.
• Manage umbilical and arterial lines, medication drips, NG tubes, G‑tubes, and enteral feeds.
• Operate SERVO and HFOV ventilators, deliver tracheostomy care, manage chest tubes, and administer inhaled nitric oxide (iNO).
• Respond to assignments posted 90–120 minutes prior to shift start.
• Follow infection‑prevention protocols (personal stethoscope per patient, provided scrubs).
• Participate in weekend rotation every 3rd weekend.
• Submit time‑off requests to the manager for approval.
• No on‑call obligations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1.5 years of NICU RN experience.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Ability to travel to both Oak Lawn and Park Ridge campuses.
• First‑time travelers are accepted.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Ability to float to the pediatric inpatient unit only
