About the Role
This Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is a 13-week travel assignment located at a healthcare facility in Colorado Springs, beginning on September 22, 2026, and ending on December 26, 2026. The RN will provide specialized neonatal care in a fast-paced environment, supporting infants from birth through age 18 as needed. Flexibility to float within pediatric and intensive care units may be required based on staffing needs.
Schedule
- 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
- Days only
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Must be available to work two of the three designated holiday periods
- No requested time off (RTO) approved within the first two weeks of the assignment
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized neonatal care in a Level 3 NICU
- Support patients from birth through age 18 as needed
- Float to pediatric and intensive care units within 35 miles of the original facility, based on staffing needs
Requirements
- BSN and active RN licensure
- 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience
- Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Comfort with patients from birth through 18 years of age
- Pediatric/PICU experience preferred
- Medical and religious exemption requests for the seasonal influenza vaccination are permitted
