Travel Nurse RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - $1,888 per week

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) assignment in Somerset, Kentucky.

About the Role

Provide labor and delivery care in a modern acute care hospital serving a vibrant community near Lake Cumberland. Support mothers and newborns through all stages of childbirth in a collaborative, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality neonatal intensive care to newborns.
• Support mothers and infants through labor and delivery.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Adhere to obstetric protocols and infection prevention standards.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky or compact state eligibility.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of two years of recent labor and delivery or NICU experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Familiarity with obstetric protocols and infection prevention.

Pay

Pay rate: $1,840.00 - $1,935.00 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• Duration: 13 weeks.
• Shift: 12 hours, days.
