Travel nursing job for a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in Asheville, North Carolina. About the role
The NICU unit has 51 beds with staffing ratios of 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, or 1:4 depending on patient needs. Candidates should be detail-oriented and organized, suited for fast-paced neonatal care.
Schedule
- Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 09/07/2026
Requirements
- NRP certification
- 2 or more years of NICU experience (required)
Qualifications
- NICU experience of 2+ years (highly preferred)
- Additional neonatal certifications
- Previous experience in Level III NICUs (encouraged)
