Travel Nurse RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - $1,849 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for an immediate opening in Pennington, New Jersey. This is a travel nursing position requiring an RN with 1-2 years' recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to sick and premature infants in the NICU.
• Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective action when necessary.
• Perform nutritional assessment and administer specialized feedings.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs.
• Provide arterial and intravenous therapy.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment such as incubators and ventilators.
• Support parents with emotional encouragement and education on infant care for home.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH certifications.
• 3 years of experience (as noted in requirements).
• 1-2 years' recent acute care experience preferred.

Skills

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Capable of lifting 10‑20 pounds of equipment.
• Prepared to work with potential exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases.
