Neurosurgery/Neuroscience Registered Nurse (RN) is needed for a 4 Neuro floor specializing in post-neurosurgery and neuroscience patients at a healthcare organization in Birmingham, Alabama. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a reputable facility committed to delivering compassionate and high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for post-neurosurgery and neuroscience patients
- Adhere to facility policies
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
- Flexibility with float rotation as needed
Requirements
- Valid nursing license
- Certification in NIHSS (Neonatal Intensive Care)
- 2 years of clinical experience
- Located within the state of Alabama or willing to relocate
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in neurosurgery/neuroscience
- Strong patient care skills
- Positive attitude and good work ethic

- 18-bed unit
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system: EPIC
