Travel Nurse RN - Neurology - $1,990 per week

Job Summary

The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Neurology Floor Registered Nurse (RN) in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This position involves providing specialized care for neuro medical surgical and telemetry patients.

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) (can be obtained during first week of orientation)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in neuro medical surgical units
• Experience with neuro assessments, critical thinking skills, drain management, and post-surgical care
• Able to manage higher acuity neuro diagnoses such as stroke, seizures, post-op neuro surgeries, level 2 trauma, and level 1 trauma post-ICU care
• Fluency in neuro assessments and post-surgical procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in neuro assessment skills and critical thinking

Additional Information

• This position is a contractor replacement
• Travelers must attach required licenses and certifications
• Must be greater than 50 miles from the facility

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
