About the role
Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in a specialized neuro ICU setting. Responsible for delivering safe, quality care while adhering to unit-specific protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments
- Administer treatments
- Maintain and monitor neurological status
- Lift up to 80 pounds with proper techniques
- Stand or walk for extended periods
- Exposure to chemicals, radiation, infectious agents, and blood-borne pathogens
Qualifications
- Graduate of an RN program
- Certified RN with current unrestricted license
- Prior RN work experience
- BLS certification required
- Pass a competency exam
- Neuro ICU experience preferred
