Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $3,294 per week

About the role

Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a 13-week assignment starting on August 3, 2026, in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for patients with complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions.
• Support hospital needs to lesser or like acuity areas as needed.
• Work 48 hours per week, rotating shifts from 7p-7:30a and 7a-7:30p.
• Participate in on-call requirements every other holiday for 8 total weekend shifts over a 6-week period.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing.
• At least 2 years of nursing experience, with neuroscience experience preferred.
• BLS AHA certification required.
• NIHSS certification required annually.
• 5 stroke-based continuing education units (CEUs) required annually.

Qualifications

• Passing scores on relevant certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS).
• Experience with stroke, seizure/epilepsy, spinal cord injury/infections, neuro degenerative diseases, and traumatic brain injury/bleeds.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills in neurology and neurosurgery.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
