Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $2,860 per week

Job Summary

Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) is needed for a facility located in Boston, MA. This role involves working in a dynamic healthcare environment supporting various medical surgical units, including neurology, cardiac, bariatric, general medicine, general surgery, gynecology, urology, hips and joints, oncology, transplant liver and kidneys, and vascular. The position offers a rotating shift schedule encompassing days, evenings, and nights with every other weekend and holiday requirements.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Three or more years of related work experience
• CPR-AHA and ACLS-AHA certifications
• Basic computer skills
• Familiarity with web-based applications
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Level I trauma experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a teaching hospital
• Specialty area expertise

Additional Information

• Travel RNs will be assigned to the medical-surgical float pool supporting 15 units.
• Inpatient ratios vary from 4:1 on days to 6:1 on nights.
• Assignments may be scheduled 2 hours before the shift; RTO requests, including dates and times available for interviews, must be submitted at the time of application.
• Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays, barring holidays.
• No local travelers will be accepted, as candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Scrubs may be any color; parking costs up to $43 per day for day shifts are typical; public transportation options are available.
• Candidates must be separated from the organization for at least 6 months to be eligible.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
