About the role
Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry. Discipline: RN. Start Date: 10/05/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. 36 hours per week. Shift: 12 hours, nights. Employment Type: Travel.
Responsibilities
Provide care for acute care stroke patients; perform physical assessments and documentation; manage time effectively; apply critical thinking; demonstrate A.I.D.E.T behaviors; adhere to core measures and prevent hospital‑acquired conditions (HACs) and healthcare‑associated infections (HAIs).
Requirements
- Excellent physical assessment and documentation skills
- Experience caring for acute care stroke patients
- Time management skills
- Well‑developed critical thinking skills
- Well established A.I.D.E.T behaviors
- Knowledge of core measures and prevention of HACs and HAIs
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification
