Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $2,220 per week

Join a well-established teaching hospital serving Missoula and western Montana. Community Medical Center is Joint Commission accredited and offers a broad range of specialty services, including pediatric and neonatal care.

This is a 13-week travel nursing assignment with a 36-hour work week, 12-hour day shifts.

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
• Call: None
• Unit: Acute Care
• Unit Size: 31 beds
• Patient Ratio: 1:5
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
• EMR: Cerner
• Trauma Level: Level IV
• Floating: As appropriate based on experience
• Scrubs: Any solid color

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Tele experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Associate degree or higher

Skills

Candidates should be comfortable with:

• NG tube placement and management
• Foley catheter placement and management
• Chest tube maintenance
• Med/Surg and telemetry patient care
• Adapting to changing patient needs and unit workflow

Preferred skills:

• Cerner experience
• NIHSS certification
• Strong communication skills
• Flexible, outgoing, team-oriented personality
