Requirements

• Med/Surg and telemetry experience
• Must be able to read and interpret cardiac rhythms
• All travelers must take and pass a cardiac rhythm exam
• BSN not required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must live 50+ miles from the facility

Skills & Experience

• Med/Surg and telemetry experience
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Passing score on facility cardiac rhythm exam required

Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS

Staffing & Scheduling

• Every unit has a charge RN
• Day charge typically does not take patient assignments
• Night charge may take a patient assignment
• CNAs are utilized on all units
• 12-hour shifts
• Days: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Nights: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Weekend shifts: Saturday/Sunday
• Holidays: Travelers rotate with permanent staff

Orientation

• 1–2 precepted shifts
• Scrubs: Royal Blue

Facility Policies

• Facility may cancel up to 2 shifts per 13-week contract
