Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $1,790 per week

About the Role

Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) in Milledgeville, GA. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a busy Level 3 Trauma Designation facility with 24 licensed beds. The role supports a diverse patient population with acute and chronic conditions, requiring strong clinical assessment skills and experience in telemetry monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with acute or chronic diseases, post-operative status, diabetes, hypertension, infections, CHF, and electrolyte imbalances.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data.
• Work within patient ratios: RN: 1:4-6, LPN: 1:4-6, CNA: 2-3 per shift.
• Collaborate with hospitalist, intensivist, and telemetry monitoring staff.
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical record and various medical equipment (Alaris infusion pumps, Phillips monitors, vital signs monitors, etc.).
• Float to all adult medical-surgical and telemetry units as needed.

Requirements

• Active RN license for Georgia.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• BCR (Basic Cardiac Rhythm) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Tele experience (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• Medical-surgical national certification.

Schedule

• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift.
• Minimum 36 hours per week.
• Duration: 13 weeks.
• Start Date: 08/24/2026.

Orientation

• One day facility orientation plus two days departmental training.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
