About the Role
- Title: RN - Medical/Surgical
- Location: Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 12 hour nights, every other weekend, float as needed
- Hours per week: 36 hours
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a designated group of patients in an inpatient environment.
- Deliver care to a primarily adult population.
- Adhere to the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).
Requirements
- 2 years of RN - Medical/Surgical experience.
- Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent.
Qualifications
- Required Education: Associate’s degree in nursing.
- Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Required Certifications & Licensure: Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC); American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent.
- Work Authorization: US Citizen.
- Preferred years of experience: 1 years (Note: 2 years also stated in requirements).
