Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,280 per week

Cross Country Nurses seeks a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13‑week assignment starting 10/26/2026 in Soldotna, Alaska. The role involves providing quality patient care on a medical‑surgical floor, managing individualized, goal‑directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles, and ensuring adherence to departmental and hospital standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage individualized, goal‑directed nursing care through the nursing process and primary nursing principles.
• Ensure adherence to departmental and hospital policies and standards.
• Participate in unit‑specific training on Meditech and OBIX systems (three‑day orientation plus additional training).
• Complete medication testing within the first two weeks of assignment.

Requirements

• Active Alaska state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS (AHA), NIHSS, and PEARS certifications.
• Minimum of 3 years of Medical‑Surgical nursing experience.
• Strong critical thinking skills.

Schedule

12‑hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every other weekend, minimum 36 hours per week.
