Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,210 per week

Job Summary

The Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Omaha, Nebraska. This role involves providing patient care on a MedSurg unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, primarily working night shifts. The RN will be responsible for caring for MedSurg patients, including those with oncology diagnoses, and may perform float duties as needed within scope of practice.

Schedule

Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Licensure to submit
• BLS Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
• A valid drivers license

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with oncology MedSurg
• Familiarity with electronic charting system EPIC

Additional Information

• Candidates must pass a skill-based open book exam on the day of orientation with a minimum score of 90%
• A radius rule of 50 miles applies, and candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with the organization, including those affiliated with common health system entities.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
