Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,210 per week

Job Summary

Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) care is sought for a critical access facility located in Shawano, Wisconsin. The position involves providing patient care on a 20-bed unit, primarily focusing on IMU patients, with a busy caseload including detox, stroke rule outs, and respiratory cases. The assignment features 12-hour day shifts every weekend, starting as soon as possible for a duration of 13 weeks.

Job Details

• Location: Shawano, WI
• Shift: 12-hour days (Friday - Sunday)
• Schedule: Sundays through Saturdays with 36 hours guaranteed per week

Required Qualifications

• Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact license
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum 2+ years of Medical Surgical (MS) experience
• Critical access hospital experience
• Experience with titratable drips
• Previous travel experience strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• EPIC charting experience within the last year

Additional Information

• Float rotation may be required throughout the facility within skillset, covering all ThedaCare facilities within 60 miles
• No new travelers, at least one completed contract required
• Candidates from a facility or home location within 50 miles of the Neenah, WI campus are ineligible
• The role involves busy patient care with a mix of detox, stroke rule outs, and respiratory cases
• No on-call responsibilities
• Orientation includes 8 hours of unbillable GSA hours
• Set weekly hours guaranteed except during holidays when the unit is closed
