Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,180 per week

About the role

This role involves providing patient care within the medical-surgical unit of a healthcare facility in Omaha, Nebraska. The position requires delivering high-quality nursing services in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety and clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on a medical-surgical floor, including post-operative recovery and oncology overflow cases
• Float within scope as needed
• Adhere to a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Use EPIC charting system
• Complete a pass/fail exam during orientation with a minimum 90% pass rate
• Complete an open-book exam on skills learned during orientation

Requirements

• Valid BLS Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Active nursing license
• Valid driver’s license for verification
• Experience in medical-surgical nursing, including oncology
• Must not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with the organization
• Must be within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Adherence to fingernail policy: artificial nails are prohibited
