Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, weekends as scheduled, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- BLS Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience on a Medical Surgical Floor
- Willing to wait for license submission
- Location in Pennsylvania
- Experience in acute care settings
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Cerner charting system
- Comfortable working with COVID-19 patients
- Handling 'clean' and 'dirty' patient hallways
- Managing ventilator patients including Bipap, Cpap, and High Flow
Additional Information
- Unit covers two areas: 1W MedSurg and 2E MedSurg, all private rooms
- Patient population primarily includes post-surgical, orthopedic, pneumonia, dialysis, palliative care, hospice, end-of-life, chemotherapy, and COVID-19 patients
- No cardiac gtts; specific vent management is delegated to RTs
- Telemetry patients are remotely monitored; on-unit tele monitoring has no monitors
- Self-scheduling and blocked schedules permitted, provided staffing needs are met
- Must be comfortable with handling both 'clean' and 'dirty' COVID patient hallways on the unit

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
