Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,135 per week
Job Summary
A registered nurse position is available in Artesia, New Mexico, at a medical-surgical unit with a focus on telemetry and progressive care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves providing patient care in a high-acuity environment, managing drips, reading tele strips, and maintaining intubation when necessary. The position is scheduled for day shifts, and candidates must have at least three years of medical-surgical telemetry experience.
Job Details
- Location: Artesia, NM
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7 PM), minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid nursing license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLs (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Minimum three years of medical-surgical telemetry experience
- One year of relevant experience
- Ability to read and interpret tele strips
- Proficiency with telemonitoring systems
- In-house respiratory therapy support
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown units
- Familiarity with CPSI and TruBridge electronic charting systems
- Experience managing intravenous drips such as insulin, amiodarone, and levofed
- Experience maintaining intubation
