About the role
Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment starting on July 27, 2026, in Johnson City, New York.
Responsibilities
- Experience with cardiac telemetry, step-down/PCU, and cardiac intensive care unit (CVICU)
- Knowledge of TAVR, watchmans, mitral clips, heart catheterizations, preop/post op open heart procedures
- Experience with cardiac IV and PO medications, drips at a flat rate (cardizem, amiodarone, dobutamine, lidocaine, milrinone, heparin, insulin), anticoagulants, CHF, CP, arythmias, NSTEMI, STEMI, PE, post op CABG greater than 3 days, Sepsis, PNA, Stroke, observation patients, use TR band, groin management
- Familiarity with complications related to the above conditions
Requirements
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- 5 years RN experience
