About the Role

This position involves providing care to general medical-surgical patients within a 10-bed department at a Medical Surgical Floor (MS) in Fargo. The role requires collaboration with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse must demonstrate competency within the full scope of nursing expertise, utilizing appropriate standards tailored to the patient population.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend and holiday
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Assignment dates: 09/28/2026 through 12/28/2026

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) experience
• Recent travel experience (completed and not in first travel)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• ND or compact state RN license
• Experience working in a hospital with a minimum of 250 beds
• Level 2 or higher trauma center experience
• Recent Med/Surg experience within the last year
• Must badge in and out at the facility
• Scrubs: navy blue
• Experience working with Epic Electronic Medical Record
• Experience with AccuDose, Bladder Scanner, Phillips monitors, Telemetry

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in larger hospital settings
• Recent travel experience within the last year

Additional Information

• Candidates must meet licensure requirements and be willing to wait for license submission
• Floating to any Med/Surg unit within Fargo as needed
• Works on a 10-bed department
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 5:1 during day shifts and 6:1 during night shifts
