Job Details
Specialty: Med Surg. Discipline: RN. Start Date: 09/28/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. 36 hours per week. Shift: 12 hours, nights. Employment Type: Travel.
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Extra shifts may be available, and scheduling flexibility is considered.
Required Qualifications
- Valid license to practice as a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification
- NIHSS certification required for all RNs and LPNs
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical surgical nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
- Knowledge of telemetry monitoring
- Proficiency in managing a variety of patient conditions including CP, CHF, pneumonia, post-operative care, pediatric patients, detox, and surgical patients
Additional Information
- The unit provides care for a wide range of medical and surgical patients, excluding laboring moms and patients requiring titrated cardiac or insulin drips.
- Floating to other units may be required, with clear orientation provided.
- Cpap and Bipap equipment are used continuously; RT will assist with management during shifts.
- The orientation includes tours and discussions with the management team, spanning 3-5 days.
- Float rotation may be required.
