About the role

Medical Surgical Floor Nurse - Nights position in Torrington, Wyoming, providing direct patient care on a medical‑surgical unit, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care while adhering to organizational policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients following organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice.
• Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to provide appropriate care based on patient data and developmental needs.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and revise care plans.
• Delegate tasks and supervise patient care activities.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with policies.
• Participate in research activities and unit leadership when applicable.
• Supervise staff and workflow as needed.

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in the state of practice, or temporary/interim RN license, or compact RN licensure.
• BLS certification.
• 0 years of experience required.
• Shift schedule: nights, 12‑hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Start date: 10/19/2026; end date: 01/11/2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Professional certification preferred.
