This role involves providing patient care within a Medical Surgical unit, supporting a diverse patient population with various medical conditions. Job Details Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid RN license, minimum of 2 years of recent travel experience in a Medical Surgical setting, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role required. Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Prior travel experience in a Medical Surgical setting is required; experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Record system is preferred. Additional Information: Position start date is 11/02/2026, with an end date of 03/20/2027. Nurse must work at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Years Day). Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6. The unit handles a variety of medical conditions including GI Bleeds, COPD, CHF, Diabetes complications, ESRD, dementia, TIA/Stroke, A-Fib, hypertension, sepsis, and vascular issues. Ancillary support covers lab draws, EKGs, and supply management. The facility is a teaching hospital, encouraging a supportive culture for students and new hires.
