This role involves utilizing the nursing process to provide direct patient care for a designated group of patients during night shifts. The position focuses on delivering safe, effective, patient-centered, and timely care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting patient needs and responses. Collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team members is essential to ensure comprehensive care. The nurse will administer medications and treatments as prescribed, oversee clinical supervision of licensed practical nurses and non-licensed assistive personnel, and meet specific patient and family education needs during the care episode.
