Job Summary

Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position providing patient care in a Clinical Observation Unit within a healthcare facility. Night shifts with a 12-hour schedule, starting October 5, 2026, through January 2, 2027. Prior travel experience required for all Central positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Clinical Observation Unit Med/Surg D27
• Work 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
• Assume charge responsibility as needed (with appropriate pay differential and training provided)
• Work and interact with students and new hires, contributing to a culture of support
• Must work at least one major holiday during the assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license
• 2 years of work history
• Experience in Med/Surg
• Valid skills checklist
• Nursys license or equivalent
• Submission must include: work history, explanation for all employment gaps over 90 days, skills checklist, and license copy

Schedule

• Nights, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks (October 5, 2026 – January 2, 2027)
• Assignments may be canceled up to 36 hours prior due to census
• Local candidates accepted
• Assignments typically 2 to 3 weeks long
• Weekend-only requests considered
