Medical Surgical Floor nurse in a busy acute care setting. This position involves providing direct patient care to a diverse adult patient population, including post-surgical and medical overflow cases. The role requires flexibility for night shifts and accommodates a robust, team-oriented environment focused on quality care.
Schedule
- Nights, 12-hour shifts
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical floor
- Float to medical and telemetry units
- Assist with strips reading in medical areas as needed
- Conduct bedside shift report
Requirements
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting
- Active nursing license
- No additional experience specified
Preferred Qualifications
- Surgical experience
- Post-operative care experience
- Early ambulation experience
- Comfortable with first-time travel assignments
