Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $1,935 per week

Job Summary

The Medical Surgical Floor nursing position is located in Jackson, Michigan. This role involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. The selected nurse will utilize the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and teaching for patients and their families. Effective communication of pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team is essential. The position may require float rotation to additional units as needed.

Schedule

• Days shift, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract duration
• Start Date: 08/11/2026

Required Qualifications

• Two or more years of Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Michigan Registered Nurse licensure

Preferred Qualifications

• Telemetry experience is preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred

Certifications & Licensure

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing

Education

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

Skills & Experience

• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel
