About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality Long-Term Care nurse for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide extended care to patients living with disabilities or suffering from progressive or chronic illnesses, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing and dressing.
• Record vital signs and administer medications.
• Complete assignments made by physicians and provide routine treatment.
• Assess changes in the patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication and ensure meticulous documentation for continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and other treatment team members.
• Be well-versed in a large variety of health conditions due to the broad range of medical conditions encountered in long-term care.

Requirements

• Active RN or LPN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certification.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in a Long-Term Care setting.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client’s facility.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Weekly payment estimates include a gross estimate of hourly wages and reimbursements for meal, incidental, and housing expenses.
