About the role
Long Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) position in New Lisbon, Wisconsin. This role involves providing essential healthcare services within a long-term care setting, focusing on delivering high-quality resident care, accurate documentation, and effective communication with healthcare teams to ensure resident well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily nursing activities, requiring attention to detail and accuracy
- Provide timely communication of resident condition changes
- Complete resident assessments
- Administer medications following the 5 Rights
- Provide wound care
- Assist Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
- Monitor residents and act as a leader on the floor
- Maintain accurate resident records
- Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation
Requirements
- Two-year degree in nursing (four-year degree preferred)
- Wisconsin Registered Nursing license (must hold and maintain)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- At least one year of related work experience preferred
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
Schedule
- Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
