Travel Nurse RN - Long Term Care (LTC) Long Term Care - $2,110 per week
Job Summary
This role involves providing patient care within a skilled nursing unit that supports patients with pulmonary diagnoses requiring oxygen, Alzheimer's, and dementia. The position offers a dynamic environment focused on delivering comprehensive care to a diverse patient population.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour days, every other weekend, with first to float shifts.
Required Qualifications
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- California licensure relevant to nursing practice
- No specific degree required
- Location in Glendale, California
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in long-term care or subacute settings
Additional Information
- Unit notes include working with RN-to-patient ratios of 5:1, supporting pulmonary/o2 patients, and a multidisciplinary team including PT, OT, SLP, case managers, social workers, and dieticians.
- Experience with cerner electronic charting system, and working with oxygen therapy equipment such as Cpap, Bipap, and high flow devices.
- RN, LPN, and CNA staff are required to wear specified scrub colors and participate in unit-specific orientation.
- The facility utilizes both PAPR and N95 masks and can cancel shifts up to four times per 13-week assignment.
