Travel Nurse RN - Long Term Acute Care - $1,818 per week

About the role

Travel nurse RN position in a Long‑Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility in Charleston, West Virginia. 13‑week assignment, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform head‑to‑toe assessments and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer IV medications, manage central lines, and monitor vital signs and lab results
• Provide ventilator and tracheostomy care, as well as advanced wound management
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists, physicians, and case managers for ongoing treatment plans
• Support patients with mobility, hygiene, and nutritional needs
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs, ensuring proper patient care delivery
• Adhere to strict infection control protocols and facility safety standards
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and communicate patient status updates
• Document all care activities and interventions accurately and in real time
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge planning

Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent experience in a Long‑Term Acute Care or similar high‑acuity setting (some notes indicate a 2‑year expectation)
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning assignment

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) with a current license in good standing and eligibility for state licensure.
